So, it’s not been our best week. Pete did his ankle in on Friday and has been sidelined ever since although he was at an exhibition in Birmingham yesterday and walked all around it so it’s been a miraculous recovery. If Eileen lets him he’ll be back in action tomorrow. In the meantime Mark’s cycle to Cellardyke in Fife (43 miles) was a victim of late night bevvying on Saturday. Mark’s done four bridge crossings during Pete’s absence and is now two short of him in total numbers plus a couple of cycles. Clocked up over 300 miles now in March.
What a fabulous day it was yesterday and promises to be today too. So, in celebration of a forthcoming sunny delight from Amadou and Mariam (out on 2nd April – new album) here’s their finest hour.
